Michael Murray of Kitchen Inspirations in Pukekohe, was declared the winner in our Bestwood Melamine' Pick your Paradise' design competition.  An independent judging panel loved his stunning design that combined the rich moodiness of Patina on the underbench cabinetry within the kitchen island, contrasted with Simply Eucalyptus for the tall cabinetry and external face of the island benchtop.

With a lot of high quality entries, the judges had their work cut out to find a winner, based on the criteria of creativity, clarity of design concept and the best use of the new Bestwood Melamine decors.  They commented the concept was 'fresh and showcased a great blend of materials with flair and imagination'.

Michael has won a getaway travel treat to a New Zealand destination of his own choosing to the value of $2500.    Thanks goes to our judging panel - Colleen Holder of Colleen Holder Design in Auckland, Milvia Hannah of German Kitchens in Wellington, and Nicky Claridge of NC Design in Christchurch.    To view the new Bestwood Melamine designs, check out our launch story.
